ABOUT THE SPEAKER: Brian K. Janowsky is Partner and a member of the Private Clients, Trusts and Estates practice group in the New York office of Schiff Hardin LLP. He regularly advises high net worth clients and families, private equity and hedge fund managers, and closely held business owners on their personal estate and tax planning. Brian has implemented sophisticated lifetime and testamentary wealth and charitable transfer techniques. He tailors wealth transfer plans to each client's objectives, always mindful that clients' non-tax goals for their families, businesses, and philanthropic interests are the driving force behind any plan. He also regularly reviews and advises on tax compliance related to exempt organizations as well as gift, estate and fiduciary income tax matters. Brian is a frequent writer and speaker on tax and estate planning topics, including at the Hawaii Tax Institute. He is listed as a "Best Lawyer" in 2021 by U. S.
